The Evangel Christian School football team picked up a 48-12 win over The Bridge Academy in 8-man football action Sept. 10.

Hayden Brown scored the first touchdown for the Lightning with an 8-yard scoring run in the opening quarter.

Josh Flanders added the second touchdown on a 26-yard interception return for a score.

Pete Sullivan scored the third Evangel touchdown following a 46-yard scoring run.

Flanders added another touchdown on his 49-yard interception return for a score. Flanders ran it in for the two-point conversion.

Sullivan scored his second touchdown of the game following a 32-yard scoring run.

Brown scored his second touchdown of the game with a 2-yard touchdown run.

Clay O’Neal capped the scoring for the Lightning with a 47-yard run.
