Hope Christian School did not punt the ball a single time on its way to a 64-6 rout of Heritage Christian School in Palmetto, Ga.

Quarterback Zac Hughes and several other playmakers helped the Hope Eagles rack up 328 total yards of offense.

On defense, Jacob Medders recorded nine tackles, Andrew Whitson recorded eight and Caleb Rettig and Ryan Gibbens recorded seven each.

Though the team was much more aggressive than in weeks past, there was room for improvement, said head coach Mark Rettig.

“I’m proud of the guys, but I was a little disappointed in our inability to raise the bar for ourselves,” Rettig said. “But it shows a lot of leadership when the team is not satisfied with themselves.”
