Mrs. Betty Jean Carter Reynolds

Mrs. Betty Jean Carter Reynolds, age 65, of Columbiana, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010. She was a lifelong resident of Shelby County and member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church.

Her loving survivors are devoted husband, Mazell Reynolds; children, Michelle Reynolds, Falecha Jones (Richard), Leslie Reynolds and Sidney Reynolds; brothers and sisters, Sam Jr. (Tiwander), Anthony (Loretta), Doris (Fate), Gwendolyn, Sandra and Diann (Bobby); and grandsons, Trevor, Travis and Troy.

Visitation was held on Friday, Sept. 10 from noon-6 p.m. at Westside Funeral Home in Calera. Memorial services were held on Saturday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. at Mount Tabor Baptist Church where internment followed in Wallace-Campbell Cemetery. Pastor Sam Carter Jr. officiated. Westside Funeral Home Calera directed.
