Schools give high value

While the economy slowly begins to improve, Hoover’s Jefferson State Community College is filling a void by offering top-notch education at a good price.
More and more people are taking notice and utilizing one of the most under-valued resources in our community, leading to a huge spike in Jeff State’s enrollment numbers.
Jeff State has broken enrollment records each fall since 2008, and that trend shows no sign of stopping with a 14 percent increase total across all four Jeff State locations.
With the ever-rising cost of a college education these days, not everyone can immediately afford to go to a four-year college.
We’re proud to have a solution right here in Shelby County. Having Jeff State so close means local students can live at home, work at home and save money while also receiving a quality education.
This is just another example of how Shelby County provides everything necessary to achieve goals in life. Students can go through all stages of education here, with an excellent public school system (as well as great private schools), Jeff State and four-year colleges such as the University of Montevallo and Southeastern Bible College.
We encourage more Shelby County citizens to look into Jeff State, as well as the other local educational opportunities. You never know what educational path you may want to take, but there’s a good chance it’s in Shelby County somewhere.
