Austin Foster, a 10th-grader at Shelby County High School, was invited to sing at a showcase concert at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Ky. The annual, week long convention began on Monday, Sept. 13. Foster performed on Thursday, Sept. 16. He was personally invited to sing at this event by the president of the Southern Gospel Promoters Association, Jim Hefner, after the gentleman saw Foster perform at a concert in June.
