The Alabama Elks Association began a new partnership with Alabama’s Special Camp for Children and Adults (ASCCA).

Located on Lake Martin, Camp ASCCA is a nationally recognized leader in therapeutic recreation for children and adults with both physical and mental disabilities.

The Camp ASCCA mission is to help eligible individuals with disabilities and/or health impairments achieve equality, dignity, and maximum independence.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is one of the largest and most active fraternal organizations in the world with just less than 1 million members in more than 2,000 lodges across the country. The Alabama Elks Association has nearly 7,000 members in 27 Elks Lodges in Alabama, including the Cahaba Valley and Calera lodges in Shelby County.
