Alabama Power Co. plans to redeem all of the company’s outstanding $150 million Series AA 5- 5/8% Senior Notes, due April 15, 2034, (Cusip No.: 010392553, NYX: ALF) on Oct. 29 at a redemption price equal to 100 percent of the principal amount plus any accrued and unpaid interest to the date of redemption.

Holders of the Series AA Senior Notes to be redeemed will receive a notice of redemption at least 30 days prior to the redemption date.

The Bank of New York Mellon will serve as redemption agent.
