Elizabeth “Sis” Taylor Wallace, age 91, a resident of Columbiana, passed away Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 7, at Columbiana United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Columbiana City Cemetery with Rev. Pete Grice and Rev. Tom Minor officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 6, from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wallace worked along side her husband, Wales, at Wallace Law Firm for over 30 years. She was a lifelong member at Columbiana United Methodist Church and was real active in the United Methodist Women’s Ministries. She was a charter member of the Vignette Club and a leader of a Girl Scout troop for several years. Mrs. Wallace is preceded in death by her husband, Wales Wallace Jr. Mrs. Wallace is survived by her daughter, Shirley Thornburg (Robert); grandchildren, Robin Thornburg and Taylor Thornburg (Jamie); great-grandson, Logan Thornburg; sister, Dorothy Armstrong (Murray); and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
