Mary Frances Booth, age 71, of Brierfield, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010. She was born in Alabama on Feb. 12, 1939, the daughter to James Frank and Daisy Lee Rice Garner. A visitation was held on Friday, Oct. 08, 2010 at Charter Funeral Home in Calera from 6-8 p.m.

Survivors of Mrs. Booth include her sons, Gene Polk Jr. (Debra), Roger Polk, David Polk (Tina) and Randy Polk (Vickie); daughters, Debbie Sweet (Charlie), Tammy Pickett (Randy) and Kathy Jo Polk; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Garner (Elizabeth) and Ralph Garner (Peggy); and a sister, Betty Sue Cochran (Donald). Arrangements were under the direction of Charter Funeral Home.
