OMHS robotics to compete

The Oak Mountain High School Robotics Team is preparing for its fourth year of competition in the UAB-hosted Blazer BEST (Boosting Engineering, Science and Technology) competition on Oct. 9 in Bartow Arena, 617 13th Street South. The contest features middle and high school student teams from 25 central Alabama schools. Each team competes with a built-from-scratch robot and has six weeks to develop and build the robot for competition. The event theme for 2010 is “Total Recall.”
