Margie L. Waites, age 70, of Alabaster, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at her home.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Olan and Betrice Fant.  She is survived by her husband, Edward; her two sons, Wesley (Pam) and Curtis (Michelle); five grandchildren, Adam, Holly, Bryant, Allison and Natalie; five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Nov. 17, at noon at Concord Baptist Church in Calera. Burial followed in Shelby Memory Gardens, Calera. Reverend Brook Lovett presided.  The family received friends one hour prior to the service.
