The Spain Park High School wrestling team topped Sparkman in the Scottsboro Duals in its opening dual meet of the season Nov. 27.

Spain Park defeated Sparkman 48-30 in the dual meet. The Jaguars also fell to Pell City, Bob Jones, McCallie (Tenn.) and host Scottsboro in the dual meet.

Kameron Ricks went undefeated in 215-pound matches in the Scottsboro Duals with four pins and one victory by forfeit.

Conrad Hathcoat finished 4-1 in the Scottsboro Duals with three pins and one major decision.  Making his varsity debut, Mo Mills went 3-2 in the Scottsboro Duals with all three wins by pin.

Spain Park fell 48-36 to Sparkman.

The Jaguars’ Elijah Krukowski pinned his opponent in the 103-pound match. Hathcoat pinned his foe in the 135-pound match.

Blake Daniel recorded a pin in the 171-pound match. Ricks earned a pin in the 215-pound match.

The Jaguars fell 65-18 to McCallie.

Mills was the only Jaguar who picked up a win over an opponent after earning a pin over his 189-pound foe.
