Mrs. Peggy A. Bearden, of Helena, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010, at the age of 77. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who devoted her life to her family. She was a longtime member of Pelham Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jan Bearden Peoples. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joel E. Bearden Jr.; 3 daughters, Mickey Finn (Eddie), Kim Dudley (Richard) and Staci Ballard (Royce); son-in-law, Steve Peoples; 11 grandchildren, Shannon White (Joey), Lee Peoples (Brandi), Eric Finn, Michelle Henderson (Andrew), Katie Finn, Mindy Jeffcoat (Michael), Cody, Alex and Cory Wash, and Kyle and Reid Ballard; five great-grandchildren, Tyler and Torie White, Anna and Grant Peoples and Keller Finn.

The family received friends on Saturday, November 27, 2010, from 5-7 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services were Sunday, November 28, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dick Sztanyo officiating. Interment was in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
