The Thompson High School girls’ basketball team fell to Mountain Brook 43-28 on Nov. 30.

Asia Anchrum led the Warriors (4-3) with five points and eight rebounds.

Briarwood tops Pelham

The Briarwood Christian School girls’ basketball team recorded a 28-21 win Nov. 30 over Pelham.

Meredith Botes led the Lions (6-3) with eight points.

Sydney Days led Pelham (0-4) with seven points.

Shelby County picks up win over Calera

The Shelby County High School girls’ basketball team ran its winning streak to seven games Nov. 30 following a 72-24 win over rival Calera.

Aulicia Nunn led the Wildcats (7-0) with 16 points.

Ashley Mizzell and Alexis Lewis added 10 points each. Alysia Perkins contributed nine points.

Kelsie Knight and Hallie Brown added chipped in eight points each.

Taylor White led the Eagles (0-1) with six points.

Jennifer Hobby and Jocelyn Davis contributed five points each.

Chelsea falls to Hueytown

The Chelsea High School girls’ basketballl team fell to Hueytown 51-41 on Nov. 30.

Amanda Mock led the Hornets (0-3) with 14 points. Mock also grabbed 11 rebounds.

Allie Luster added nine points and six rebounds.

Indian Springs defeats B.B. Comer

The Indian Springs School girls’ basketball team picked up a 28-27 win over B.B. Comer on the road Nov. 30.

Andrea Mayo led Indian Springs (3-2) with 18 points in the victory.

Vincent falls to Winterboro

The Vincent High School girls’ basketball team fell to Winterboro 36-35 in a home contest Nov. 30.

Kiara Cohill led the Yellow Jackets (2-4) with 13 points.

Brooklyn Jones added 10 points.

Kingwood falls to East Memorial

The Kingwood Christian School girls’ basketball team fell on the road Nov. 30 at East Memorial, 45-38.

Whitney Gillespie led the Lions with 18 points.

Casey Whitmer added 13 points.

Coosa Valley defeats Springwood

The Coosa Valley Academy girls’ basketball team picked up a 48-27 win over Springwood Academy on Nov. 30.

Jordan Smiley led the Rebels (2-0) with 17 points. Smiley grabbed 11 rebounds.

Lauren Archer added 13 points and nine rebounds.

Evangel Christian defeats T.H.E.

The Evangel Christian School girls’ basketball team picked up a 52-25 win Nov. 30 over the Tuscaloosa Home Educators.

Abby Letson led the Lightning (4-0 overall, 3-0 in Alabama Christian Sports Conference) with 21 points. Letson also grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out five assists.

Katherine Stockman added 13 points. Rainey Ketcham chipped in 11 points and six assists.

Jason Laatsch led the Lions (5-1) with 16 points.

Jacob Robertson added 11 points.

Alec Rash led the Panthers (0-5) with 14 points.

Xavier Lacey added 11 points.

Oak Mountain falls to Shades Valley

The Oak Mountain High School boys’ basketball team fell to Shades Valley 55-43 on Nov. 30.

Garrett Cosgrove led the Eagles (3-3) with a game-high 25 points.

Colton McGriff added 11 points.

Spain Park falls to Hewitt-Trussville

The Spain Park High School boys’ basketball team fell to Hewitt-Trussville 50-41 on Nov. 30.

Mitchell Holt led the Jaguars (4-3) with 11 points.

Thompson falls to Mountain Brook

The Thompson High School boys’ basketball team dropped its first game of the season Nov. 30 following a 65-55 loss to Mountain Brook.

Demarcus Threatt led the Warriors (6-1) with 21 points.

Caleb Johnson added 10 points.

Chelsea defeats Hueytown

The Chelsea High School boys’ basketball team picked up a 57-51 win Nov. 30 on the road at Hueytown.

Jake Ganus led the Hornets (3-2) with 16 points. Ganus also grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out three assists.

D.D. Washington added 17 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor. Julius McCall contributed eight points.

Indian Springs falls to B.B. Comer

The Indian Springs School boys’ basketball team fell to B.B. Comer 68-53 on the road Nov. 30.

Charlie Simpson led Indian Springs (4-2) with 28 points. Simpson, who hit 5-of-9 field goals from beyond the arc and shot 9-of-11 from the charity stripe, also grabbed five rebounds.

Hart Wilson added nine points.

Vincent defeats Winterboro

The Vincent High School boys’ basketball team picked up a 79-30 win Nov. 30 over Winterboro.

Anterio Rogers led the Yellow Jackets (5-1) with 17 points. Rogers grabbed 10 rebounds.

Bruce Hamilton added 10 points and 15 rebounds. Keyon Wallace and Dontravious Moon finished with 11 points each.

Kingwood defeats East Memorial

The Kingwood Christian School boys’ basketball team picked up a 66-56 win over East Memorial on the road Nov. 30.

Daniel Fillingim led the Lions (3-3) with 15 points.

Payton Sumrall added 14 points. Madison Webb chipped in 12 points.

Charles Pope and David Fillingim led Kingwood with 10 rebounds each.

Sam Bullard led the Rebels (0-2) with a game-high 26 points.

Marcus Johnson led the Lightning (3-0 overall, 3-0 in Alabama Christian Sports Conference) with 25 points. Johnson also grabbed 10 rebounds.

Andrew Frazier added 18 points. Mark Underwood chipped in 14 points.
