Each Sunday throughout December, singles of all ages are invited to attend “Singles at the Shoals” at Riverchase United Methodist Church. Fellowship begins at 9:40 a.m., including coffee and brunch, fellowship, live acoustic praise music and an informal worship service. This is one way single Christian adults can feel like a valued member of a growing faith community.

The new Adult Ministry began in October with close to 40 single adults aged early 30s and older. Attendance and interest increased to more than 75 in November. The ministry is designed for those who want a more comprehensive menu of opportunities from college and career to retired baby boomers.

Scheduled events at Riverchase United Methodist Church include five new classes for singles on Sunday, monthly meetings on Thursday evenings for the Adult Ministry Events and ballroom dance classes.
