Helena to hold Christmas parade Dec. 4

HELENA — The Helena Christmas Parade will go on in its 40th incarnation Dec. 4.

The parade begins at 1:30 p.m. Line up for parade participants is at 12:30 p.m. in the Winn-Dixie parking lot and the Publix parking lot.

The parade will proceed down Shelby County 16 and end before the railroad tracks in Old Town Helena.

Bleachers will be available for onlookers in the Helena Baptist Church parking lot.

Marion and Bubba Sides will serve as the parade’s grand marshals. The two donated the land where the Helena Amphitheater sits today.
