Maurene Lyon Carr

Maurene Lyon Carr, age 89, of Gallatin, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010. Memorial service will be conducted on Dec. 10 at 1 p.m. at the Johnson Cemetery on County Road 5 between Columbiana and Wilsonville. She was born in Birmingham, on July 16, 1921, daughter of the late Luther M. Lyon and Elizabeth Church Lyon. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Methodist Church in Hendersonville, Tenn. She is survived by son, Ray L. “Buddy” Carr and wife Brenda of Hendersonville, Tenn.; daughter, Dianne Carr Boles and husband Charles of Gallatin, Tenn.; brother, Raymond Lyon and wife Margaret of Birmingham; two grandchildren, Nathan “Chip” Boles and Cheryl Annette Bumgarner; and two great-grandchildren, Grace Bumgarner and Jonathan Bumgarner. Family and friends will gather at the Wilsonville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall after the service.
