A 53-year-old Montevallo woman died Dec. 3 in a three-vehicle wreck on Shelby County 11 near the Oak Forest Subdivision.

Jessica Triesler died after her car collided head-on with two other vehicles.

Pelham Police and Pelham Fire responded to the wreck at about 2:14 p.m.

According to police, Triesler’s vehicle was traveling southbound on Shelby County 11 and struck two other vehicles traveling northbound.

Life Saver responded to the scene because of the injuries involved, according to police. No one was flown from the scene by Life Saver, but one other person was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department assisted with traffic control while Shelby County 11 was closed for approximately one-and-a-half hours.
