The Oak Mountain High School wrestling team dropped a Dec. 6 match with Hoover.

Six Oak Mountain wrestlers won their individual matches in the Eagles’ 44-29 loss to the Bucs.

Jared Godfrey of Oak Mountain pinned Hoover’s Preston Smith in the 125-pound match. The Eagles’ J.P. Parker earned a 12-3 major decision over Nick Sissa of Hoover in the 130-pound match.

Oak Mountain’s Angus McBee earned a 11-0 major decision over the Bucs’ Toderick Jowers in 145-pound action. Vincent Kimbrough of Oak Mountain pinned J. Thomas of Hoover in the 152-pound match.

The Eagles’ Justin Woodall pinned Luke Umphrey of Hoover in the 189-pound match. Lloyd Time of Oak Mountain picked up an 8-2 decision over Hoover’s Alex Shunnarah.
