Jimmy Roger Sheffield, passed away at his home on Friday, December 10, 2010. Mr. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 49 years, Frances Sheffield; son, Roger Sheffield (Ann), both of Calera; daughter, Debbie Parker (Todd) of Thorsby; sisters, Christine Campbell, Teresa Tara, Joyce Sheffield, and Wanda Sheffield; brother, Emory Sheffield; grandchildren, Casey Clark, Kevin Sheffield (Michelle), Crystal Roberson (Jason), Erica Hogge (Heath), and Josh Parker; great-grandchildren, Haston Hogge and Amelia Roberson.

Visitation was held Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Rockco Chapel from 6-8 p.m. for his friends. Jimmy’s funeral service will be held on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel at Rockco. Burial will take place in Calera at the Shelby Memory Gardens. Officiating Jimmy’s service will be Rev. Matt Hilyer. Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo directing.
