Mary E. Bentley, age 93, a resident of Alabaster, passed away on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 16, at Bolton Funeral Home with Rev. Jon Jacks officiating. Burial will follow in Pinelawn Gardens. Bolton Funeral Home of Columbiana is directing. Family will receive friends from noon-1 p.m. prior to the service.

Mrs. Bentley is preceded in death by her parents, John Ellis and Ella Effie Rayfield; brothers, Braxton, Jackson, Murray and Grayden Rayfield; and sister, Lorene Presley. She is survived by her husband, Leo Bentley; daughter, Sue Keith (Ronny); son, Amos Bentley (Martha); three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
