At about 11 a.m., deputies responded to the residence on Caldwell Mill. While there, deputies were able to get a description of both the suspect and the vehicle he was driving, along with a possible license plate number.

Deputies then went to the residence registered with the license plate and found Dinkel backing out of the driveway. Dinkel had stolen property in his possession, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release.

He was charged with one count of second-degree burglary and one count of first-degree theft. He is being held in the Shelby County Jail on a total bond of $60,000.
