The Spain Park High School girls’ basketball team fell to Shades Valley 50-49 in high school basketball action Jan. 3.

Colby Ryan and Whitney Gulledge led the Jaguars (11-8) with 15 points each. Ryan also grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds and finished with a double-double.

Ryan hit 6-of-8 free throws in the loss. Gulledge finished 3-of-5 from 3-point range and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe.

Kelsie Williams added six points in the loss. Jessica Freeman chipped in five points.
