Verizon Wireless has donated $2,500 and 1,800 prepaid phone cards to the Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ACADV) and its network of women’s shelters to help victims and survivors of domestic abuse. The monetary donation is a gift from the company’s HopeLine® program and the phone cards are courtesy of Verizon LiveSource, as part of a national effort by Verizon to donate $150,000 in calling cards to domestic violence shelters across the country.
