Jerry Brasher, age 66, a resident of Calera, died on Friday, Jan. 14, 2011. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at Bolton Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Brasher Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home of Columbiana directed. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011 at the Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Mr. Brasher is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Brasher; parents, C.R. and Pearly Lucile Brasher; brother, R.C. Brasher; and sister, Francis Roberts. He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Suchy (Dennis), Carla Brasher and Charlotte Jones (Lance); sisters Geraldine Marheine and Ireta Killingsworth; brothers, Delno Brasher and Benny Brasher; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
