The Cornerstone Christian School girls’ basketball team defeated Edgewood Academy 58-47 in high school basketball action Jan. 20.

Kailey Goodwin and Destiny Dillard led the Chargers (4-9) with 17 points.

Hope Finley added nine points in the victory.

BOYS

The Cornerstone Christian School boys’ basketball team fell to Edgewood Academy 50-42 in high school basketball action Jan. 20.

Kendall Moore led the Chargers (4-9) with 13 points. Moore also grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Tucker Youngblood contributed seven points. Austin Wingard chipped in six points and nine rebounds.
