The Chelsea High School girls’ basketball team edged Hueytown 42-38 in high school basketball action Jan. 25.

Amanda Mock led the Hornets (7-15) with 16 points.

Perri Lambert added seven points in the victory.

BOYS

The Chelsea High School boys’ basketball team fell to Hueytown 68-63 in high school basketball action Jan. 25.

Jake Ganus led the Hornets (11-14) with a game-high 23 points.

Eli Bashour added 12 points in the defeat.
