Mr. and Mrs. Don and Mary Tyler of Pelham would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Tyler, to Mr. Bill Spencer, Jr.

Lisa is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald and Frances Lewis of Buffalo. Bill is the son of Mr. Bill Spencer, Sr. and Mrs. Denise Graham of Alabaster. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Claude and Margaret Dellinger of Atlanta.

Lisa graduated from Pelham High School in 2008, and completed a nursing degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Bill is a 1999 Thompson High School graduate, and attended UAB to obtain a degree in marketing. He currently works at Image Technology Solutions.

The couple is set to wed August 27, 2011.
