The Indian Springs School boys’ basketball team defeated Shades Mountain Christian 47-24 in high school basketball action Jan. 27.

Charlie Simpson led Indian Springs (12-7) with 17 points. Simpson also dished out a team-high five assists and grabbed four rebounds.

Stephen Himic added 11 points and five rebounds in the victory.

GIRLS

The Indian Springs School girls’ basketball team edged Shades Mountain Christian 38-37 in high school basketball action Jan. 27.

Andrea Mayo led Indian Springs (8-8) with a game-high 17 points.

Eugenia Hofammann added 11 points in the victory.
