The Hope Christian School girls’ basketball team fell to Covenant Christian Academy 46-12 in high school basketball action Jan. 28.

Karlee Tate led the Eagles (10-7) with four points.

Davina Drew finished with three points, two steals and a team-high four rebounds. Hannah Rettig and Leigh Wilson-Legg, who dished out two assists, added two points each. Joelle Reed contributed one point.

Erin Douglas and Christina Jones grabbed three rebounds each.

BOYS

The Hope Christian School boys’ basketball team defeated Covenant Christian Academy 57-47 in high school basketball action Jan. 28.

Terrence Moore led the Eagles (10-9) with 21 points. Moore also finished with a team-high six steals, five rebounds and three assists.

Pete Thomason added 11 points. Caleb Douglas, who finished with a double-double, chipped in 10 points and a team-high 17 rebounds to go along with four assists.

Blake Thomas contributed nine points. Brandon Fuller finished with six points.
