The Vibe Salon in Calera is celebrating its new location and fourth anniversary Feb. 5.

The salon, formerly located at 203 Airport Commons, has moved to 10313 Highway 22, Unit A.

On Saturday, the business is offering complimentary salon and spa services all day. Shampoo and styles, 10-minute neck and shoulder massages and paraffin hand treatments are being offered at no charge on a first come, first serve basis.

“It’s very exciting,” said Tonya Turcotte, who co-owns the salon with husband Mark.

In addition, a $1,000 service and retail package is being given away to somebody who visits the salon Saturday. A winner will be announced Monday.

Refreshments will be served, and customers will get 25 percent off all salon services. Also, it’s buy one, get one free on salon products.

Customers can also meet two new staff members: stylist Brenda Willoughby and massage therapist Laura Graddy.

“Our goal is to bring more salon and spa services to the Calera area,” Turcotte said. “It keeps prices down and reasonable.”

In addition, Turcotte said it’s nice to retain dollars within the community, as well as save people money they would spend driving to Birmingham for similar services.

The salon offers massage services, haircuts for men, women and children, color services, texture services, brow/lip sculpting services and bridal/special occasion hair services.
