The University of Montevallo baseball team’s 2011 home opener has been pushed back one day due to inclement weather in the Montevallo area.

The Falcons were scheduled to take on Young Harris College tomorrow evening with a 6 p.m. first pitch Feb. 4. The Falcons will now take the field Saturday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. to play a home-opening doubleheader against the Mountain Lions.

The University of Montevallo women’s tennis team’s 2011 season opener has also been pushed back one day.

The Falcons were scheduled to open the season Friday, Feb. 4 at home against the University of West Georgia. Montevallo will now take the court Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. in its season-opener.
