The Briarwood Christian School boys’ basketball team defeated Chilton County 73-56 in high school basketball action Feb. 4.

Jason Laatsch led the Lions (21-9) with a game-high 26 points.

James Palmer added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Luke Collins contributed 10 points in the victory.

GIRLS

The Briarwood Christian School girls’ basketball team defeated Chilton County 63-20 in high school basketball action Feb. 4.

Hannah Wainwright led the Lions (24-4) with 12 points. Wainwright also finished with four steals.
