Jimmy Ray and Glynda Howard of Sterrett celebrated 50 blessed years together on February 10, 2011. Their children hosted a reception in their honor with family and friends on February 12 at The Church of God of Prophecy, Sterrett.

Mr. & Mrs. Howard have three children, Regina Vick (Coy), Jimmy Howard, Jr. and Johnna Weldon; four grandchildren, Robert (Robby) Poole, Jr., Robyn Willet, Morgen Weldon and Meagan Weldon; and two great-grandchildren, Joshua Willet and Tripp Poole.

Jimmy Ray retired after 44 years at IKG Bordens, Leeds, while Glynda is self-employed. They are members of the Church of God of Prophecy, Sterrett
