The Coosa Valley Academy boys’ basketball team fell to Crenshaw Christian Academy 46-21 in the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 1A Elite Eight on the Huntingdon College campus Feb. 10 in Montgomery.
John Bullen led the Rebels (9-15) with nine points in their final game.
Sam Bullard and Jordan Green added four points each. Daniel Kennedy and Hunter Winslett contributed two points each.
Coosa Valley coach Wade Hyde said the Rebels battled through injuries during his first season as coach.
“It’s been rough,” Hyde said. “We’ve had a couple of players out here and there all season. We’ve played good defense all season. We should have made it to the Final Four, but it was a good year making the playoffs.”
