The Vincent High School girls’ basketball team defeated Holy Family Catholic School 30-26 in the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A, Area 10 tournament semifinals at The Altamont School to clinch a spot in the tournament championship game.

Brooklyn Jones led the Yellow Jackets (10-17) with 15 points. Jones also recorded four steals in the victory.

Kiara Cohill added seven points and two blocked shots. Jessica Posey chipped in five points and a team-high nine rebounds.

Vincent will face host Altamont in the Class 2A, Area 10 championship game Feb. 12 at 7 p.m.
