Malcolm Conrad Cooper, 56, a resident of Alabaster, passed away on Feb. 10, 2011 in his residence. Mr. Cooper was born in Victorville, Calif. He was a senior systems analyst and worked as a vendor at Christmas Village “Sugar, Bud and Half-pint.” He is survived by his father, Conrad Ratliff Cooper (Peggy) of Gardendale; mother, Willa Dean Bullard Cooper of Alabaster; brothers, Dennis Cooper (Kris) of Little Rock, Ark., Jeffery Cooper (Jennifer) of Erin, Tenn., and Gregory Cooper (Terri) of Brewston Mills, Va.; sister, Yuvonda Youngblood (Butch) of Columbus, Miss.; nine nieces and nephews; and cousins, Terry Ratliff and Linda Add Davis, both of Blountsville.

Visitation was held on Monday, Feb. 14, 2011 from 5:30-8 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, from 8 a.m.-noon. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Green’s Chapel Presbyterian Church with Bro. David Allison officiating. Interment followed in Green’s Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Butch Youngblood, Ralph Youngblood III, Matthew Youngblood, Derrick Smith and Ray Fizzell. Lemley Funeral Home directing.
