The Briarwood Christian School girls’ soccer team defeated Pleasant Grove 10-0 in its season-opening match Feb. 15.

Cat Cowen led the Lions (1-0) with four goals. Cowen also recorded an assist in the victory.

Ally Jennings added three goals and an assist. Lizzie Baumbach, Marjie McKelvey and Savannah Penny chipped in one goal each in the win.

Leeanne Holliman finished with two assists. Amanda Smeltzer recorded one assist.

Pleasant Grove did not attempt a shot in the contest
