Two Spain Park High School wrestlers earned a spot on the podium following the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A state wrestling tournament Feb. 19 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville.

Juniors Tommy Bostany and Kameron Ricks each placed in the AHSAA Class 6A state wrestling tournament.

Bostany finished third in the 119-pound weight division after earning a 4-1 decision over Jesse Webster of Bob Jones in his final match.

Ricks finished fourth in the 215-pound weight division after dropping an 8-7 decision to Brett Brown of Tuscaloosa County in his final match.

Spain Park finished 20th overall in team standings at the AHSAA Class 6A state tournament with 38 points.
