The Thompson High School girls’ tennis team defeated Indian Springs School 8-1 in high school tennis action Feb. 24.

The Warriors won five of six singles’ matches and all three doubles’ matches against Indian Springs.

Erin Hutter of Thompson defeated Carly Putnam of Indian Springs 8-1 in the No. 2 singles’ match. Maria Siow of Thompson defeated Ashley Ruggle of Indian Springs 8-4 in the No. 3 singles’ match.

Victoria Killingsworth of Thompson defeated Indian Springs’ Elizabeth Miller 8-2 in the No. 4 singles’ match. Maci Hendrix of Thompson defeated Ellie Thomson of Indian Springs 8-2 in the No. 5 singles’ match.

The Warriors’ Olivia Sorrell defeated Alia Bergeron of Indian Springs 8-2 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Erin McMinn of Indian Springs defeated Laura Harwell of Thompson 8-6 in the No. 1 singles’ match for her school’s lone victory in the match.

Hutter and Siow defeated McMinn and Putnam 8-6 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Harwell and Killingsworth defeated Ruggle and Miller 8-2 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Hendrix and Sorrell defeated Thomson and Bergeron 8-4 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
