The Chelsea High School boys’ soccer team defeated Oxford 3-1 in the Frozen Cup soccer tournament Feb. 26 at Mountain Brook High School.

Will Bevill led the Hornets (2-3-1) with two goals in the victory.

Ashley Page also scored a goal in the win. Page and Travis Mitchell recorded one assist each.

Chelsea fell 2-0 to host Mountain Brook in a Feb. 25 match.

Chelsea goalkeeper Josh Carpenter finished with 13 saves in the match.

The Hornets also fell to Clay-Chalkville 4-2 in the tournament.

Page scored both goals. Austin Rikard recorded one assist.

Carpenter finished with five saves. Fellow Chelsea goalkeeper Trent Tinsley finished with two saves.
