The Briarwood Christian School girls’ tennis team defeated Pelham 9-0 in a high school tennis match March 1.

The Lions won all six singles’ matches and all three doubles’ matches.

Katherine Combs of Briarwood Christian defeated Sidney Garner of Pelham 8-2 in the No. 1 singles’ match. The Lions’ Susan Jordan defeated Pelham’s Katie Kema 8-0 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Holly Brazeal of Briarwood Christian defeated Brooke Cole of Pelham 8-4 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Briarwood Christian’s Catherine Jordan defeated Kathryn White of Pelham 8-0 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Olivia Odom of Briarwood Christian defeated Leanna Cocke of Pelham 8-1 in the No. 5 singles’ match. The Lions’ Lauren Bowers defeated Lauren Rowland of Pelham 8-1 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Combs and Susan Jordan defeated Garner and Kema 8-5 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Brazeal and Odom defeated White and Cocke 8-1 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Bowers and Catherine Jordan defeated Cole and Elizabeth Hartzog of Pelham 8-1 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
