Spain Park falls to Vestavia Hills in tennis match

The Spain Park High School girls’ tennis team fell to Vestavia Hills 9-0 in a high school tennis match March 1.

The Jaguars dropped all six singles’ matches and all three doubles’ matches against the Rebels.

Kati Baker of Spain Park fell to Lauren Levant of Vestavia Hills 10-3 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Lauren Schroeder of Spain Park fell to Mary Coleman Allen of Vestavia Hills 10-2 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Madison Luther of Spain Park fell to Avery King of Vestavia Hills 10-2 in the No. 3 singles’ match. The Jaguars’ Robyn Mitchell fell to Hannah Shunnarah of Vestavia Hills 10-3 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Spain Park’s Lulu Zhang fell to Emily Crawford of Vestavia Hills 10-2 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Kensley Yarbrough of Spain Park fell to Hallie Nelson of Vestavia Hills 10-3 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Baker and Schroeder fell to Levant and Allen 10-4 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Luther and Yarbrough fell to King and Crawford 10-4 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Zhang and Mitchell fell to Nelson and Shunnarah 10-2 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
