The Briarwood Christian School softball team defeated Curry 10-2 in high school softball action March 1.

Morgan Reed led the Lions (2-0) at the plate as she finished 3-for-4 with two triples, five RBIs and two runs scored.

Reed also picked up the win in the circle after giving up two runs, including one earned run, on four hits with eight strikeouts and four walks in a complete game.

Rachel Walz and Ashlyn Boyd led Briarwood Christian at the plate with a hit and an RBI each.

Caroline Seay, Savannah Kolb, Hannah Sankey and April Harrison finished with one hit each in the victory.
