The Coosa Valley Academy baseball team defeated Evangel Christian Academy of Montgomery 10-0 in high school baseball action March 1.

Preston Parker led the Rebels (7-2) at the plate as he finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs, a stolen base and a run scored.

John Bullen went 2-for-3 with an RBI, two runs scored and three stolen bases. Cody Wood finished 1-for-3 with a triple. Wood also drove in a run and scored a run.

Hunter Roe recorded one hit, one RBI and two runs scored.

Nick Bates improved to 3-0 on the mound this season after giving up only three hits with six strikeouts and three walks in 5 1/3 innings.
