Kingwood Christian drops doubleheader in tournament

The Kingwood Christian School baseball team fell to Cornerstone Christian School and host Prattville Christian School in a tournament March 3 in Prattville.

The Lions (0-3) fell to Prattville Christian 6-5 in their tournament opener.

Madison Webb led the Lions at the plate as he finished 3-for-3. Payton Sumrall went 2-for-3 with a double.

Andrew Whitfield, who allowed seven hits, took the loss on the mound.

Kingwood Christian fell to Cornerstone Christian 10-2 in the nightcap.

Sumrall led the Lions at the plate as he finished 2-for-2. Will Holt took the loss on the mound.
