Spain Park drops tennis match against Vestavia Hills

The Spain Park High School boys’ tennis team fell to Vestavia Hills 9-0 in a high school tennis match March 2.

The Jaguars dropped all six singles’ matches and all three doubles’ matches against the Rebels.

Jack Nicholas of Spain Park fell to Jeffrey Holcombe of Vestavia Hills 10-3 in the No. 1 singles’ match. J.C. Moore of Spain Park fell to Ziqi Wang of Vestavia Hills 10-1 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Keita Ueno of Spain Park fell to Leo Richard of Vestavia Hills 10-0 in the No. 3 singles’ matches. Brit Sovic of Spain Park fell to Peter Inge of Vestavia Hills 10-1 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Baylor Cocke of Spain Park fell to Jack Patton of Vestavia Hills 10-3 in the No. 5 singles’ match. The Jaguars’ Connor Rains fell to Vestavia Hills’ John Morson 10-6 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Nicholas and Moore fell to Holcombe and Wang 11-10 (7-1) in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Cocke and Rains fell to Morson and Richard 10-1 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Ueno and Sovic fell to Patton and Jake Bivin of Vestavia Hills 10-6 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
