The Calera High School baseball team defeated West Blocton 13-10 in high school baseball action March 7.

West Blocton jumped out to a 4-0 lead before the Eagles scored eight runs in the fourth inning. Calera scored three runs in each the fifth and sixth innings to seal the win.

J.R. Posey led the Eagles at the plate as he finished 3-for-5 with two RBIs.

Jeremy Hyde went 1-for-4 with two RBIs. J.R. Seay finished 3-for-4 and drove in three runs. Nathan Smith finished 2-for-5 with an RBI.

Hyde picked up the win on the mound for Calera.
