The Coosa Valley Academy baseball team defeated Chambers Academy 15-1 in high school baseball action March 8.

Hunter Roe led the Rebels (13-2) with two hits and three RBIs.

Jarrod Mims finished with a hit and drove in three runs. Myles Varner finished with two hits and drove in two runs.

Landon Floyd drove in three runs. Cody Wood drove in one run.

Mims (3-1) picked up the win on the mound after giving up one earned run with 11 strikeouts in four innings. Ryan Batson struck out two batters and allowed one hit in relief.
