Pelham picks up win in Memphis tournament

The Pelham High School baseball team defeated Germantown (Tenn.) 5-2 in the Lewis Harris tournament March 16 in Memphis.
Parker Curry led the Panthers (14-6) at the plate as he finished 2-for-2 with a double. Curry drove in two runs in the victory.
Ty Pierce finished with three hits and scored three runs.
Thomas Lowery earned the win on the mound after giving up two earned runs on four hits with nine strikeouts and four walks in six innings. Hunter Soleymani picked up the save after pitching a scoreless seventh inning.
